About Me - Award Winning Care

..an Award Winning  Independent, private Midwife, covering the South West;  Devon, Cornwall & Somerset. 

I cover a large, rural area around 2hours from my home.

I provide pregnancy, birth and postnatal care  and support for YOU.

As a dedicated Independent Midwife, I am passionate about providing personalised, compassionate care to every client I work with. 

I'm incredibly honoured to have been recognised with the  DWiB Start Up of the Year Award for excellence in business. This award reflects my commitment to offering the highest level of care and support to families during such an important time. 

I have always believed in the value of continuity of careR and building a relationship with the families I support.  I work in a continuity of careR model, where we have the time to really get to know each other; no waiting around in busy clinics for a 20minute appointment here! As you can imagine, having the time to get to know each other proved difficult to achieve within the NHS!

As a mother of 3, I've had a mixture of birth experiences! I've had 1 hospital induced birth, 1 very quick birth,  almost in the car on the A20 and 1 home birth. I've also tackled  my own challenges around feeding, post natal depression and mothering 3 children under the age of 3!! 

I am trained to be able to provide Aromatherapy & Acupressure for Pregnancy & Childbirth.  I have also trained in Biomechanics for Birth and Rebozo techniques to offer extra support, should we need it. 

I have a tool-box of tips & tricks!

North Devon is a rural area and it takes a while to get anywhere by car!! Realistically I do cover a large area and I am happy to travel across the South-West as your  Midwife. Luckily I love driving...but within reason! 

My role is to support YOU to make the best choices and decisions for you and your baby.  I'm deeply grateful for the trust placed in me, and it is MY privilege to be part of your journey. I look forward to working with you.  I can't wait to meet you and provide the maternity care that you deserve.
