Hi, I'm Clair ~ an experienced independent (private) home birth midwife serving Devon, Somerset and Cornwall.

For over a decade as a qualified midwife, I’ve witnessed the miracle of birth. I bring a LOT of expertise to this exciting journey. I have personally supported over 100 out-of-hospital births and hundreds more across every setting imaginable!

As a published researcher with a 1st class BSc (Hons) in Midwifery, I provide evidence-based midwifery care combined with the warm, personalised support that comes from years of experience. Based in Barnstaple, I’m passionate about supporting families across Devon, Somerset and Cornwall to birth confidently at home on their own terms., offering something truly precious ~ the gift of time, trust, and transformation.
